Ingredients
  

  • 600 g chicken breast cut into
  • bite sized pieces
FOR COATING:
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs panko preferred
  • Half cup flour
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Half teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Half teaspoon black pepper
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Ketchup to serve

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Set up three bowls — flour seasoned with salt pepper in first, beaten eggs in second, breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder onion powder paprika in third
  2. Step 2: Pat chicken pieces completely dry
  3. Step 3: Coat each piece in flour shake off excess
  4. Step 4: Dip in egg let excess drip off
  5. Step 5: Press firmly into breadcrumb mixture coating all sides well
  6. Step 6: Heat 2cm of oil in large pan over medium high heat until shimmering
  7. Step 7: Fry nuggets in batches don't crowd the pan 3 to 4 minutes each side until deeply golden
  8. Step 8: Drain on paper towels season with pinch of salt immediately
  9. Step 9: Serve hot with ketchup and whatever sides you like
