Lemon Butter Salmon

Salmon, lemon, butter, and garlic create a quick 5 ingredient dinner that looks like it came from a nice restaurant. Takes less effort than ordering delivery and tastes infinitely better. Sauce comes together in the same pan.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 lemons one sliced
  • one juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Season salmon generously with salt and pepper
  2. Step 2: Heat pan over medium high heat add 1 tablespoon butter
  3. Step 3: Add salmon skin side down if applicable cook 5 minutes until golden
  4. Step 4: Flip cook 3 to 4 more minutes until flakes easily
  5. Step 5: Remove salmon to plate
  6. Step 6: Same pan reduce heat to low add remaining butter and garlic
  7. Step 7: Cook 1 minute until fragrant add lemon juice
  8. Step 8: Pour sauce over salmon top with lemon slices serve immediately

searing for crispy skin
— Salmon is done when it
flakes easily with fork
