One Pan Quesadillas

The fastest 20 minute dinner that's actually a 10 minute dinner. One pan, whatever filling you have, cheese, fold, cook, done. The one minute rest before cutting is the only tip you need to know.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 cup cooked chicken shredded
  • or canned black beans
  • Half teaspoon cumin
  • Half teaspoon garlic powder
  • Butter for pan
  • Salsa and sour cream to serve

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Mix filling with cumin and garlic powder
  2. Step 2: Heat pan over medium heat add small amount of butter
  3. Step 3: Lay tortilla flat in pan sprinkle cheese evenly over surface
  4. Step 4: Add filling to one half only
  5. Step 5: Fold over press down firmly
  6. Step 6: Cook 2 to 3 minutes until deeply golden
  7. Step 7: Flip cook other side 2 minutes until golden
  8. Step 8: Rest 1 full minute before slicing — this is essential
  9. Step 9: Serve with salsa and sour cream
