Ingredients

  • Half cup soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger grated
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil

Method

  1. Step 1: Add all ingredients to jar or container
  2. Step 2: Whisk or shake vigorously until cornstarch completely dissolved
  3. Step 3: Taste and adjust — more honey for sweetness more soy for saltiness more vinegar for tang
  4. Step 4: Store in sealed jar in fridge up to 2 weeks
  5. Step 5: Shake well before each use as cornstarch settles
  6. Step 6: Use 3 to 4 tablespoons per serving in stir fry

Notes

— Shake before using —
cornstarch settles at bottom
— Adjust ratios to your taste —
this is a forgiving base recipe
— Doubles or triples easily —
make big batch and freeze
— Works as marinade too —
not just stir fry sauce
