Sheet Pan Sausage and Peppers

The most hands off 20 minute dinner on this list. Toss everything on one sheet pan and the oven does the work while you do anything else. Slightly caramelized edges on everything make this taste incredible with almost zero effort.

Ingredients
  

  • 6 Italian sausages
  • 2 red bell peppers sliced
  • 2 yellow bell peppers sliced
  • 1 large red onion sliced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper
  • Fresh basil to serve

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 220C or 425F
  2. Step 2: Toss peppers and onion with olive oil Italian seasoning garlic powder salt and pepper
  3. Step 3: Spread on large sheet pan in single layer
  4. Step 4: Place sausages on top
  5. Step 5: Roast 20 minutes turning sausages halfway through
  6. Step 6: Let rest 2 minutes
  7. Step 7: Serve with fresh basil over rice or in crusty rolls
