- Step 1: Cook spaghetti in heavily salted boiling water
- Step 2: Heat olive oil over high heat in large heavy pan
- Step 3: Add onion cook 3 minutes stirring constantly
- Step 4: Add garlic and tomato paste cook 1 minute until paste darkens
- Step 5: Add beef break apart cook over high heat 5 minutes until browned
- Step 6: Add crushed tomatoes Worcestershire sauce Italian seasoning sugar salt and pepper
- Step 7: Simmer over medium high 8 minutes until sauce thickens
- Step 8: Serve over spaghetti topped with parmesan and fresh basil
